Eligio Stephen Gallegos, Ph.D

Steve Gallegos Eligio Stephen Gallegos, Ph.D, discovered the Personal Totem Pole Process® over 25 years ago and is primarily engaged in training people, including therapists, artists and teachers in The Personal Totem Pole Process©. He gives workshops in the use of imagery in growth and psychotherapy mainly in Europe (Denmark, Germany, Switzerland and Austria). This is his only USA based workshop.

Journeys during the workshop are varied and particular to each group. Participants may journey with Steve to visit the Clay/Clay Mother, however she appears to them; the pots; the spirit of the animals & trees that gave of themselves for the drums; They journey to find their voice so that it may be mirrored in their drum and also work to find out what encourages or impedes that voice in their life; they journey to explore the vessel they are so that it is fully mirrored in the pottery they create.

Micaceous pottery Steve is a licensed psychologist with degrees from the University of Wisconsin, New Mexico State University and Florida State University. He taught at Mercer University, Macon, Georgia between 1967- 1981. Steve also worked as a psychotherapist for some years in Klamath Falls, Oregon. He was also a Vision Quest leader , with the Returning to Earth Institute for many years.
