Journeys to the vessel we are, the voice we have etc.

Tuesday 13th:
Morning with Steve Gallegos: 8-11am
12.30-1.30 Lunch at Owl Peak Studio.
1.30-5.30pm: Felipe Ortega, opening blessing ceremony, introduction to pottery.
6-7pm: Evening meal
7-9pm: Drum making with Jimmy Ortega Micaceous pottery
Venue: Owl Peak Studio & Apache Drums, La Madera NM

Wednesday 14-Friday 16th:
8:30am-12:30pm: Flexible schedule-
journeys with Steve Gallegos or freetime or work on pots, depending on individual needs.
12.30-1.30pm: Lunch
1.30-5.30pm: Felipe Ortega, pottery.
6-7pm: Evening meal
7-9pm: Drum making with Jimmy Ortega

Saturday 17th:
Free time to visit the Eight Northern Pueblos' Annual Craft Fair.
Micaceous pottery Finishing drums & firing of pots.
Reading of pots with Felipe Ortega.
Sweat Lodge with Mary Diggin & Felipe Ortega.

Sunday 18th
Closing session and journey with Steve Gallegos
Venue: River Spirit, Embudo NM

Other Information:

We will stay at River Spirit (Steve's home) on the Rio Grande River from Saturday evening until midday Tuesday when we move to Felipe's home in La Madera for the next 4-5 days. The accommodation at River Spirit include two geodesic domes and any large tents that we need, all supplied with beds or futons. Towels & bedding also supplied. At La Madera, you will have the use of bedrooms in the houses in and around Owl Peak Studio.

River Spirit also has a hot tub, which you are welcome to use during your stay.

Local massage therapists are available at reasonable rates, for massage during the week and a visit to Ojo Caliente Hot Springs is also possible.

The cost, including food and lodging at River Spirit, is $1400.00 per person. Accommodation other than at River Spirit or Owl Peak Studio is extra. The maximum number of attendees is 10. Deposits are $250 before June 15th
